EEG is the acronym for electroencephalogram. In this assessment, small sensors are clipped to the scalp to pick up the electrical signals produced when brain cells send messages to each other. Often, an EEG may be used to investigate skull and brain-related problems, such as head injuries, seizures, stroke, brain tumours, dementia, brain inflammation, etc.Routine EEG recordings typically take 20 to 40 minutes.
